Tabasom is a sophomore student from Iran concentrating in Molecular and Cellular Biology on a pre-med track. In the Kahne Lab, she works with Dr. Thiago Santos on the biogenesis of outer membrane proteins in Gram-negative bacteria.
In her free time, Tabasom enjoys dancing, reciting Farsi poems (especially Rumi poems!), and watching horror movies on Saturday nights. On campus, she works as a Peer Tutor at the ARC (Academic Resource Center), writes for the Harvard Science Review, and swims with the Harvard Swimming Club.
