Mike graduated from Providence College with a degree in English during the early years of the Clinton Administration.  Despite his advanced age, his position in the Kahne Group is only the third professional position he has held since entering high school.

Mike is charged with ensuring that the lab runs as smoothly as possible, while overseeing budgets and spending for the various NIH grants that support the research. 

Free time is mostly spent hanging out with his family (wife, two kids, and seven pound dog of unknown heritage).  For the past two decades, he has helped produce records for many local musicians, and at one point owned his own recording studio. Mike is also a keyboardist and bassist who has performed with a dozen or so bands around Boston and New England.
